Quarantining of Gifts for Residents and Family Visits

Due to the increasing number of active COVID-19 cases in the province, Oakwood will be quarantining all non-perishable items for residents starting from tomorrow, 17th November 2020. We will use a similar process from earlier in the year, all non-perishable items can be dropped off in the designated space in the front lobby for Oakwood Terrace, the items will be stored, quarantined and passed on to the residents at a later date.

Family visits are still going ahead for the time being, we continue to monitor the local COVID-19 conditions and we reassess this decision every 24-hours. Essential Caregiver visits continue as planned. During all these visits gifts, both perishable and non-perishable items, cannot be given directly to the resident. Again, we can quarantine the non-perishable items but ask you to refrain from bringing any perishable items.
