As COVID-19 continues to impact our communities it continues to be a challenge at Oakwood Terrace. We have multiple cases of COVID-19 within our resident population and staff groups. The good news is that to date the symptoms for all are relatively mild, residents are doing well. Oakwood continues to follow Public Health advice and as a result a number of restrictions are in place:
Unit A is closed to general visitors. DCG’s can visit but are restricted to the Unit.
Unit B is open to visitors and DCG’s. Visitors are encouraged to stay on the Unit.
Unit C is closed to general visitors. DCG’s can visit but are restricted to the Unit.
Unit D is closed to general visitors. DCG’s can visit but are restricted to the Unit.
Everyone visiting Oakwood Terrace needs to be aware of the personal risk of visiting a facility with active COVID-19 cases. Please wear all PPE as directed and follow all other Public Health guidance.
As Oakwood is in an outbreak situation regular updates will be posted to the website and Facebook page. Please check prior to visiting the facility.
All family and visitors can help the residents of Oakwood Terrace by not visiting the home when sick and wearing a medical mask when out in public.
