Oakwood Terrace continues to be in a full facility COVID-19 outbreak as defined by Public Health.
Oakwood has confirmed COVID-19 cases within the resident and staffing populations. As of today, we have 15 confirmed and active COVID-19 cases within the resident population spread across 3 units. We have an additional 12 resident cases that are now considered recovered and non-transmissible. Thankfully, the majority of residents have minor symptoms and continue to recover.
Visitor restrictions are still in place at the direction of Public Health. All units are only open to Designated Caregivers visits only at this point in time.
All Designated Caregivers are asked to take a rapid test prior to visiting Oakwood Terrace. Please do not visit Oakwood Terrace if you are unwell.
Please be advised that there is a risk of COVID-19 exposure to anyone entering a long term care facility that has active COVID-19 cases.
