We don’t like posting these messages prior to the holidays but we are seeing increasing attempts to visit residents directly by their room windows.
We would just like to remind everybody not to try and visit residents via their room windows. These close proximity visits with no PPE present a significant risk to you, the residents and the staff. COVID-19 is still active in the province and the highest percentage of the active cases are within HRM. We are doing everything we can to keep everyone safe and prevent COVID-19 from entering the Oakwood environment so can we please remind everyone to only use the family visit programs and not try to circumvent the controls we have in place.
